When you create an AI Agent in Autom Mate, the system automatically generates a supporting Autom flow behind the scenes. This flow handles how your agent runs and responds to events.

You **can edit** this flow. In fact, adding more actions or customizing its logic is often useful. However, there’s one important thing to keep in mind:

> 🔧 **If you modify the Trigger Method or the overall flow structure, the AI Agent may no longer function correctly.**

This doesn’t mean you can’t change anything — but certain structural changes can break the link between the agent and the Autom flow.

### ✅ Best Practices

- **Feel free to add new steps or actions** to extend your agent’s capabilities.
- **Avoid changing the Trigger Method** unless you know how it impacts the agent.
- **After any edits** , test your agent again to confirm it still works as expected.

We’re working on better error handling and editor warnings for this in future versions. For now, a little caution goes a long way.
