The problem: sanctions false-positives create a “casework backlog” (and the actions don’t happen)
Many fintech teams have a decent sanctions screening engine, but the operational workflow around false positives is still manual:
- Alerts land in one system (screening tool / risk engine)
- Analysts investigate in spreadsheets + email/Slack
- Approvals happen in chat (or not at all)

4) Approvals (human or policy-based)
- Route to the right approver group based on:
- risk tier
- amount threshold
- jurisdiction
- Require explicit approval for:
- releasing a held payment
- whitelisting/false-hit list updates
