OAuth Integration and Microsoft Teams Issues – Resolved in Version 4.3.6
Autom Mate version 4.3.6, released on January 31, 2025, includes critical fixes for OAuth2 client credential management and execution stability in Microsoft Teams actions.
Users operating on versions above 4.2.0 are strongly encouraged to upgrade to this release to avoid disruptions caused by these issues.
Impact on Autom Mate
-
Previously, in workflows using OAuth2 client credentials, token refresh attempts failed when credentials expired, leading to authentication failures. This has now been fully resolved, ensuring reliable and uninterrupted token renewal.
-
In certain automations involving custom logic, the execution of a stop action was unintentionally deleting Redis records that held conversation data. This led to loss of execution context and conversation history. The issue is now addressed in 4.3.6.
What You Should Do
- If you are using Autom Mate version 4.2.0 or later, upgrade to version 4.3.6 as soon as possible.
- After upgrading, revalidate and, if needed, reauthenticate your OAuth credentials stored in the Vault.
- Test any Microsoft Teams workflows — especially those containing custom logic or stop actions — to ensure stable performance.
