One Autom for Many Hires: Autom Mate-Powered Employee Onboarding Automation

Autom Mate Team · Practical example

Start with one useful outcome: a new starter’s agreed accounts, access and equipment are ready for the start date.

A practical first version

  1. Collect the starter details. Use an approved HR record or form: employee ID, start date, department, manager and location.
  2. Choose the access package. Map the role to an agreed set of applications and groups. Send exceptions through your existing approval process.
  3. Run the connected steps. Configure Hyperflow actions for the systems you use. Check for an existing account before creating another.
  4. Track equipment separately. Create or update the equipment task and record who owns the next step.
  5. Verify and notify. Read back the account and access results. Tell HR and the manager what is ready and what still needs attention.

Start small: one department, one account system and one equipment task. Add payroll or extra applications after that path works.

Completion check: “Flow completed” is not enough. Confirm the required access exists and unresolved equipment tasks remain visible. Use your approved activation route rather than emailing passwords.

The original process illustration above remains a useful starting point.

Which HR and identity systems are you connecting? Comment with your stack and the step that gets stuck; leave out employee details and credentials.
