Error Logs no longer available

I have been running some Autom’s and they are all completing successfully. However, in one instance today, an execution failed. I reran the Autom from the monitoring panel and it then completed successfully.

Unfortunately, I am no longer able to locate the original error messages in order to diagnose what caused the failure, especially since no changes were made to the Autom.

The screenshot below shows the Autom run that completed successfully. This is the same Autom that failed a few minutes earlier before the successful execution.

When you rerun an operation, the system currently writes the new log over the previous one. Because your operation eventually completed successfully, the new log replaced the original failed execution log, which is why you can no longer see the earlier error details.

This behavior is already included in our roadmap and will be improved in upcoming versions. With the planned update, previous logs will be preserved, and you will be able to view both the old and new logs within the same operation run. This will make it easier to diagnose issues in cases like the one you experienced.

Unfortunately, for this specific execution there is no way to retrieve the original error log since it has already been overwritten.
